Please note the attachment > It would also be interesting to see what happens if you boot without 'quiet' and 'splash'. If you see the boot messages correctly, then this is likely to be a Xorg or video driver issue. If you see the screen corruption from very early on, then this is likely to be a kernel issue. I just rebootet and removed "quiet splash" from the boot options. The output while the system boots up is fine. As soon as the xserver starts (with the vesa drivers), the consoles flicker. ** Attachment added: "lspci-vvnn.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18109420/lspci-vvnn.log ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- [intrepid] screen corruption switching to VT https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272933 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
