Hello guys, I am having a problem, I hope you can help me with this
issue.
I have an M-Audio Audiophile 192 which is similar to the 2496, I installed
Ubuntu Linux 8.04.1, however was having the same problem with early distros.
When I open Rosegarden or Wine or I select the midi port the system get slow
and then crash and I am not able to move not even the mouse, It took me a while
to understand the problem because the Rosegarden use to Crash and I thought
that may be it was the rosegarden but when I remove the sound card the
Rosegarden and the wine open beautifully. So BINGO!!! it is my sound card.
It is Imposible for me to file the report because I do not know how to do it
I hope you can help me with this or I am going to spend more money
buying another soundcard
