Hi Guys,

@Joris, you mentioned you "turned on the wireless switch after KDE had
finished loading". Are you sure you didn't disable wireless when you
flipped the switch as I first see in your dmesg output:

[ 57.823085] iwlagn: Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link AGN driver for Linux,
1.3.27ks
[   57.823087] iwlagn: Copyright(c) 2003-2008 Intel Corporation
[   57.823183] iwlagn 0000:05:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 18
[   57.823191] iwlagn 0000:05:00.0: setting latency timer to 64
[ 57.823216] iwlagn: Detected Intel Wireless WiFi Link 5100AGN REV=0x54
[   57.851861] iwlagn: Tunable channels: 13 802.11bg, 24 802.11a channels

But then see:

[   80.087176] iwlagn 0000:05:00.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 18 (level, low) -> IRQ 18
[ 80.087279] iwlagn 0000:05:00.0: restoring config space at offset 0x1 (was
0x100002, writing 0x100006)
[   80.087476] firmware: requesting iwlwifi-5000-1.ucode
[ 80.889626] iwlagn: Radio disabled by HW RF Kill switch

@inflamestory, care to attach your full dmesg output? I'm also curious
if something like "echo 0 > /sys/class/rfkill/rfkill0/state" would help
to toggle the state as a workaround for you?

Thanks.
