Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mplayerthumbs
mplayerthumbs 0.5b only works with KDE3, but only KDE4 is included in Intrepid. It's probably too late to include 1.1 with Intrepid, even though it appears to build and run correctly for me. Therefore, mplayerthumbs should be dropped from the Intrepid release and made a priority for backports. mplayerthumbs is likely to be more popular in the future since it creates video thumbnails in konqueror and dolphin. In KDE3 this functionality was included, but in KDE4 it is only available through this separate package. People upgrading from Hardy to Intrepid will want to know what happened to their thumbnails.
