I can confirm NM 0.7~~svn20080928t225540+eni0-0ubuntu2 fixes problem with WPA but broke down WEP passwords. Exactly NM does not pass password to wlan interface. When I type "iwconfig wlan0" while NM tries to connect to network "Key" variable is empty.
