Public bug reported:

I am using Kubuntu 8.10 beta and I can not connect my wireless network. It uses
WEP key with share ASCII key and statics IPs addresses.
After save the settings, when clicking on "edit connections", knetworkmanager
changes/shows an shared hexadecimal key. May be, it is saving wrong and it is
the reason why it is not working.

Hardware:
HP Pavilion dv2250BR, 1GB RAM, Core Duo 1.83 Ghz, Intel Pro/wireless 3945 a/b/g

Software:
Kubuntu 8.10 beta.

** Affects: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
