I have the same issue with Hardy, and now with my Intrepid Ibex Beta install.
In my case the volume OSD displays correctly most of the time, but sometimes will appear blank. So it is less severe for me but I suspect the same bug. If I gradually increase the volume from low to high with the multimedia buttons on my Dell Inspiron the volume OSD level will increase also. But at some point along the way it will show a level of 0, but the audio will still be playing at the correct level. When I increase the volume again the bar pops back to the correct level. I've attached a screenshot that also contains the volume control showing what level the volume is really at. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot of OSD showing incorrect level and volume control showing correct level." http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18232148/volumeosd.png -- Gnome volume OSD displays incorrectly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/220283 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
