Public bug reported:
I had to manually choose (through system settings) Kubuntu to use
resolution 1680x1050. Everything was fine until next login. The
resolution was back in default 1280x1024.
After login, resolution switches back to desired immediately after
clicking "Display" in System Settings.
I'm using Kubuntu beta 1. Hardware: Intel G45 chipset, X4500HD-video
card, screen of native resolution1680x1050.
Here is also Xorg.0.log, as it seems to be important in these kind of
bugs.
