Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
Ubuntu Release: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch) - Beta 1 Package version: 0.7~~svn20081004t225044-0ubuntu1 Expected Behaviour: - In manual network configurations, entering DNS servers on the "IPv4 Settings" tab of NetworkManager in the format suggested by the tooltip (that is "[server1 ip], [server2 ip]", e.g. "192.168.0.1, 192.168.0.2") should be considered valid and should result in the OK button to be enabled and the configuration to be saved. Actual Behaviour: - The OK button remains disabled until any whitespace between the provided DNS servers is removed. Note: Removing the whitespace, closing and reopening the settings window after successfully saving the configuration reintroduces a space between the provided DNS server list. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- In manual network configuration NetworkManager does not allow for whitespace between comma separated DNS servers. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279387 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
