why do you mention f-spot on this bug? the bugs are closed when fixed in the current ubuntu version, an hardy task can be opened if the bug should be fixed there too. the ubuntu team doesn't have the manpower to backport all the fix in the stable version and updating versions wouldn't make sense either you can as well use intrepid if you want those
