I can verify this with my ACER 3618 laptop with 2GB RAM and the Intel GMA915. I have tested on other machines that have the GMA3100 display card and it does not occur with those, at least not that can be seen by the eye. Running Kubuntu Intrepid 8.10 up to date as of 2008-10-09 8:00am EDT.
