This improvement would be significantly useful to us for resolving some odd issues with firefox/thunderbird not always being able to understand GVFS mounts.
As I understand it, when the upstream TODO is completed, it will mean that: * launching any file from a GVFS mount will call the appropriate handler with a local ~/.gvfs/ path * opening/saving any file using a gtk file requestor on a GVFS mount will return a local ~/.gvfs/ path (and for applications that are GVFS-aware, they can then have these .gvfs paths turned into native GVFS URIs) -- Map FUSE paths to URIs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280865 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
