Hello again, attached is a photo of the output to the console after I issue the command to start network manager in no daemon mode, there is no output at all if I start it as a service. Alt+SysRq+t and Alt+SysRq+p gave no results.
Unfortunately I can't do this on a tty as all are blank except for a blinking cursor, they are actually alive and I can log into them and echo text to a file to test, but I never get anything actually shown on the screen, even setupcon doesn't work. So, do you have any ideas what I can try next? Thanks, Steve. ** Attachment added: "nm_hang.jpg" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18375740/nm_hang.jpg -- [intrepid] NetworkManager 0.7 hangs system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279287 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
