Hello, I have reported this bug 2 years ago on Gentoo Bugs. Someday this bug disappeared but nobody has officially fixed it. Please set the importance to high. This bug makes Evolution unusable for many people. And with such bugs we never get bug 1 fixed ;)
PS: This bug comes with some updates these days (for me), but I don't really remember which one. Some locale packages?!
