Because some time passed since I opened the ffe I updated it to the current 0.3.6.
PackageKit is a quiet new product without any further dependencies in Ubuntu. Therefor I would put the top most priority in having a as poslished as possible version in Ubuntu Intrepid. I haven't recieved any bug reports about the latest versions in the PPA.
