Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: acpi-support

On Ubuntu/edgy/i386 (upgraded from dapper, but not customised at all)

Hibernates fine.

On start-up, goes through resming fine, but then screen corrupts. (band
of green vert bars at tap, a band of horizontal garbage bars, and a
white band, rest of screen black)

Can be ssh-ed into for around a minute after resume, then crashed during
a "locate" - I presume memory corruption...

With SAVE_VBE_STATE, VBESTATE, and POST_VIDEO commented out, it didn't
crash on resumption, but it didn't work either.

** Affects: acpi-support (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
