I am using Ubuntu 8.04 on a x64 architecture. I get sound no problem. My computer freezes when I am watching a video. After inspection of the /var/log/messages file I see that everytime it happens the last messages were: pulseaudio[6964]: pstream.c: Failed to import memory block.
