Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-evdev
ii xserver-xorg-input-evdev 1:2.0.99+git20080912-0ubuntu3 X.Org X server -- evdev input driver ii linux-image-2.6.27-7-generic 2.6.27-7.10 Linux kernel image for version 2.6.27 on x86/x86_64 after updating to 2.6.27-7 scrollwheel emulation on the trackpoint in my Thinkpad X300 no longer works. I enable it thus: xinput set-int-prop "TPPS/2 IBM TrackPoint" "Wheel Emulation" 8 1 xinput set-int-prop "TPPS/2 IBM TrackPoint" "Wheel Emulation Button" 8 2 It works at first, but not after suspending. xinput(1) shows the emulation is still enabled and it behaves as if it should be (the middle mouse button respects the wheel emulation timeout setting and while I'm holding it down, the mouse pointer doesn't move), but scroll events don't seem to be making it to applications. Works fine in 2.6.27-6, but I don't see anything obvious in the kernel changelogs that relates to this. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-evdev (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- scrollwheel emulation breaks after suspend with 2.6.27-7 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282387 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
