Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xkb-data

The keyboard layout for India Gurmukhi is missing "addak" character (unicode:
0x1000A71).

According to Inscript layout, Shift+3 should type this character
(http://guca.sourceforge.net/typography/keyboardlayouts/inscript/shift.png).

Modifying line number 986 of /etc/X11/xkb/symbols/in file in Hardy to the
following should fix this problem.
      key <AE03> { [      0x1000A69, 0x00000A71             ]       };

1) This bug is in package xkb-data

2) I have noticed this bug in Gutsy and Hardy.

3) With this problem, a user cannot type a document in Gurmukhi (or
Punjabi) completely.

Warm regards.
