after running software sources from the system pulldown in Gnome, I was
able to decern I had a bad repository.  Unchecking the third party
source as a repository corrected the issued.  I would think a bad
repository would be handled and skipped.  But I guess in the case of
"repoubuntusoftware.info_dists_harty_all_binary-i386_Packages" or
"repoubuntusoftware.info"  it doesn't.
