Public bug reported: The system freezes from time to time. I'm on an DELL XPS M1530, with ubuntu 8.10 up-to-date (13-10-2008), using Eclipse, emesene, Terminal, Rhythmbox and Firefox. It freezes completely (sound, clicks, etc) except for the mouse movement.
