Description:
In digital television systems, the tvpicture is compressed before it's
broadcasted and then it is sent as digital datastream (MPEG2) Transport Stream.
The MPEG2 Transport Stream is part of the MPEG2 standard family, but it has to
be converted before it can be processed, because the structure of a is MPEG2
Transport Stream different to other MPEG2 streams. The Project X program can do
this and so much more.

The Project X program works in a way similar to that of an MPEG2 TS
hardware decoder, with the decomposed Project X MPEG2 transport stream
into its components (MPEG elementary streams - video, audio and other
data). When you disconnect the MPEG2 transport stream also at fault in
the stream reviewed and synchronized. When converting finds only a rough
check.

It will transport stream formats (both single-and multiple-TS and PS):

    * DVB MPEG2 transport stream (DVB MPEG2 TS), MPTS (Multiple Program
Transport Stream)
    * Packet Video Audio (PVA, PSV, PSA, PAV)
    * Program Stream MPEG (MPEG1 / 2 HP)
    * Linux Video Disc Recorder (Linux VDR)
    * Packetized Elementary Stream (PES RAW Streams)
    * Elementary Stream (ES Streams)

Project X is a free education and testing project and is based on the Java
programming language.
The program will be in the form of open-source code must be distributed and
when required by the user himself to be compiled.

It can be operated both as a GUI (Graphical User Interface) or CLI
(Command Line Interface).
