I have the same bug on Hardy. Using single monitor. NVidia driver version 177. Clicking the "Leave Full Screen" button does nothing except make the button react as normal. In the view menu, the "full screen" option is greyed out. This happens as soon as you either open Totem from Applications/Sound & Video/Movie Player or if you double click on any video file.
