To resolve my problem, I reloaded the computer with a later issue of Ubuntu. The problem will probably reocur when when more Kernels are released, as of now, there are only two active kernels. I would like to see a program that would erase the oldest kernel when a new one is released and is updated in manager update. From what I understand, this is an issue only with the older bios which limits the sector that the kernel is loaded into to boot. Since most people are purchasing newer computers, this may not be worth your time to work on. I would suggest that if you do, then when a new kernel is released, a program would replace the older kernel with the new one (probably as an option on update). Thanks,
