Debian watches the upstream version. ( http://dehs.alioth.debian.org/maintainer.php?name=gimmix ) Their watch noted the new version on 9/26/08. They have not begun packaging yet. Once Debian has packaged the item, Ubuntu will pick it up automatically in a future release.
