I am experiencing repeated, random loss of broadband internet connection
via my Ambit 100 USB cable modem (ntl model). Immediately after each
disconnection the system searches for and reinstates the connection only
to drop it again a couple of minutes later. I am using the Beta version
of Ubuntu 8.10, was using 8.4 before with no problem whatsoever.
