I just tried it again today: -joystick is not installed, only -evdev. After plugging in the pad, the cursor moves when I move the analog stick. When I press a button, Xorg crashes and I bump back to the console.
Actually, I consider it a bug that the X server uses the joystick at all; most if not all joystick-aware applications access it directly. Is there a way to revert to the old behaviour (Xorg not using the joystick at all)? -- Joystick detected as mouse, crashes X https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/274203 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
