Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dbus

bug #198661 seems to have introduced a regression for me. Sometimes,
when pausing rhythmbox/totem/both/whatever, it seems something breaks
and I cannot play media after that (no sound, laggy vizualisations,
etc).

sudo /etc/init.d/pulseaudio restart
...does nothing, however,

sudo /etc/init.d/dbus restart
...solves the problem temporarily when it happens. Therefore, it looks like the
latest security updates to dbus broke something, at least in pulseaudio (I
don't know if it affects other software such as epiphany). I reverted the
packages to the hardy-updates version, no problems anymore (so far).

** Affects: dbus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
