The only thing I can say is bluetooth is working in Ubuntu 8.10 beta with all updates, I have an icon in system tray. With First release of Kubuntu 8.10 beta, bluetooth also work's in my two computers (laptop and tablet pc), with the updates it won't work's no more and I don't have an icon is system tray.
