*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 30685 *** I have a similar problem synaptic "stops working" when i press second "apply" after selecting "apply" in main toolbar. After a while it displays an error message, or I have to cancel the operation.
Version of synaptic is: 0.57.8utuntu11. The download doesn't start from the gui (also from updates and add/remove apps), but updates and apt-get packet managing from the terminal workes ok, it's just a synaptic problem i suppose. Also informattions about packages does't work... Downloading speed is unknown...
