Hi, good news. I tryed beta version of Xubuntu 8.10 with my Asus EeePC 1000H. I have just tryed it from CD (not installed, since I want to keep a partition for Win$$$ and want to take a close look), and my LAN (wired) internet connection works just out of the box.
