Public bug reported: When printing in KDE 4 (Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex Beta), print options like duplex and copy number are ignored. For example, if I try to print two copies of a two-page document from Okular with duplex enabled, I end up with only one copy and no duplex. Print options are also ignored by Konqueror and, I suspect, probably all KDE 4 applications. This is a regression from KDE 3 in Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. If this bug isn't unique to my printer, then it ought to be a release blocker unless it's impossibly difficult to fix.
I'm using system-config-printer-kde 0.11, KDE 4.1.2, from the Kubuntu 8.10 Beta CD on an x86_64 machine. The printer in question is a Brother HL-5250DN using the BR-Script3 PPD. ** Affects: system-config-printer-kde (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- kde print ignores duplex & copy options https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
