Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg-driver-fglrx

I'm not promted to install the drivers from the restricted driver
manager. If I install them manually, aticonfig segfaults and after a
reboot the kernel driver is unable to find the adapter.

Uninstalling the package will restore X functionality after an
additional reboot.

output of lspci:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon
9600 M10]

Will provide additional information/troubleshooting if needed, please
advise.

** Affects: fglrx-installer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
