Hi hi, Just installed eeebuntu standard 1.0 on an eeepc 1000, which is ubuntu 8.04. ifconfig -a shows my card, and I attempted turning off and unplugging everything including battery, but no luck, it doesn't acknowledge any connection at all, not even through ethernet cord... when going to network settings, all i get is "point to point connection" and it says is not configured. Any ideas?
