As a bugsquad member, slowly downloading and extracting crash reports
that have been uploaded to launchpad seems like a waste of time. apport-
gtk is a nice simple interface for the quick glance that is required for
most stacktraces, In an ideal world this would be integrated into
launchpad, but since thats not likely to happen, and all the code is
already here, whats the harm in putting it in /usr/bin and adding a
parameter to load from the command line.
