Pulseaudio will not be implemented unless there is an uber good reason to do so. KDE had a sound server once, and we all know how that went. Besides, pulseaudio mostly is just fixing a problem resulting from crappy ALSA implementations, so it is essentially just a work around, while the proper solution would be to fix the ALSA support for broken applications.
