I have confirmed what is causing the issue now. I have changed the tittle description and other content for accuracy.
GCJ PLUGIN is found to crash Firefox if the GNU Classpath's security implementation is not complete, hence the log in the last post: gcjwebplugin.cc:978: thread 0x1d60820: Error: Failed to read line from whitelist file. ** Summary changed: - firefox crashed with SIGSEGV due to GNU Privacy Guard or GCJ PLUGIN + firefox crashed with SIGSEGV due to GCJ PLUGIN ** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0 - GNU Privacy Guard has crashed Firefox consistently when GNU Privacy - Guard (or the GCJ PLUGIN) asks the "Do you trust this site (or - certificate)" question. + GNU Privacy Guard has crashed Firefox consistently when GCJ PLUGIN asks + the "Do you trust this site (or certificate)" question. GNU Classpath's + security implementation is not complete To replicate this issue you will need to register with http://www.asx.com.au and then click on the Sharemarket Game link after that. Loging into my ASX account is O.K. The issue starts as soon as you enter ASX Sharemarket Game itself. The ASX Sharemarket Game link will always open a new tab with in the current browser session. Thats all I can hint ATM.
