Still happens with 2.24.1-0ubuntu1

Behaviour is the same, tested by creating a new "match all" search
folder with this version. Initially appears empty, and when I send
myself an email to the searched folder, it appears there.

I have also noticed an additional behaviour of the total message count
of the original search folder. Each time I start evolution, the message
count is incremented by exactly the number of messages in one of the
folders in the search, a local mailbox.

I note that if I create a search folder pointing to a single IMAP
folder, the message count is correct and constant throughout subsequent
runs. If I create a serach folder pointing to a single local folder,
the message count is initially correct and then increments by the number
of messages in the local folder each time I restart evolution. In both
cases only messages received since the folder was created are listed.

** Changed in: evolution (Ubuntu)
