Thanks Bryce. Does the release of -intel 2.5.0 change this in any way? I
know it requires libdrm 2.4.0 (Intrepid currently has 2.3.1 I think),
but given they now both have releases rather than simply git-tips, are
they not considered stable (enough)?

The concern is that over the 6 months between Intrepid and Jaunty that
the G4x series of chips is going to become considerably more popular
than it is today and at present many users are experiencing problems
even installing and booting to a GUI. See
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=889323.

Is there some testing PPA that these things get pushed into first? I am
happy to try things out from there to check for regressions etc.

Thanks again
