Public bug reported: Current version of libvorbis in Ubuntu is version "Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20070622" (see ogginfo output). However, the audiophile site Hydrogen Audio explicitly recommends using version " AO; aoTuV b5 [20061024] (based on Xiph.Org's libVorbis)" (i.e. aotuv beta 5):
