Update: If I Install a new Installation of Intrepid, complete all of the Upgrades. Then Enable the Restricted 177 Driver for Nvidia, upon reboot it fails to detect screens.
Hardware: 2x Geforce 8500GT -> Correction from Previous Post I attempted to delete xorg.conf, and tried various suggestions on the internet and startx always returns "No Screens Found". Re-Installing Ubuntu 8.10 Detects 1 Video Card and allows me to run dual head.
