Just booted Ubuntu Intrepid beta LiveCD (32 bit) and... ...AVM Fritz!Stick WLAN USB (2005)/Ndiswrapper/wpa_supplicant yielded a terrific, WPA2 encrypted, connection to the internet!
Hopefully a stable version of Intrepid will come soon!
