The daily check for updates doesn't use Adept, so that's not likely. ;-)
It is likely that Adept crashed in the past and the crash reporter was slow
about letting you know. Unfortunately, since the backtrace retrace failed and
we have no idea how this crash occurred, we can't really do anything with this
bug report.
