Same problem in network-connections-editor affects me on Ubuntu 8.10 RC/64 Bit. Not to mention that I had to manually install pptp-linux package to no avail. Too bad as my ISP like most ISPs in Russia requires VPN to access Internet. And I need support for both PPTP and L2TP to be available out of the box.
