@Alex: As I said before: --------------------------- So, in your case, the partition holding the swap file is not yet mounted, therefore it is impossible for the system to look for a 'resume file' inside the swap file, and the same problem occurs. --------------------------- IE. because it can't access the swap listed in the resume file, it drops to text boot.
I would <always> advise using a separate partition for swap, anyway.
