turns out, that the user has set LC_ALL=it_IT.UTF-8 for the root
account, which is not done by us. The keytool command can be prefixed
with LC_ALL=C to workaround this, but maybe it's not necessary to do
this before release, because it only affects people with this "custom"
setting.
