I am copying a dvd full of data to my local drive via cp. My mouse and
all Desktop apps are lagging like if I would use glx without the proper
drivers (slow responsiveness and screen update). Using Kubuntu 8.10
amd64... Can I help in any way? Or someone has an idea how to change the
scheduler in my case?

Cheers,
Daniel
