Confirmed. I'm unable to set up a static IP address in network-configuration. Also, when I set up a subnet mask, I enter it correctly, but the tool automatically changes it ti "24" I don't know if that's right or not, but if it confuses me, it'll confuse a lot more people.
The old configuration tool was kinda wonky, but at least it worked.
