Hy Kzin,

thanx for your mail.
I tryed that:

title           Ubuntu 8.04.1, kernel 2.6.24-21- Akku2
root            (hd0,1)
kernel          /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.24-21-generic
root=UUID=37ec896f-7649-45ed-8f45-c9af2ce1727f ro noapic acpi=force irqpoll
initrd          /boot/initrd.img-2.6.24-21-generic
quiet

but it is the same problen. Doesn't start and freezes if i plug out ac.
:-(

This worked:

title           Ubuntu 8.04.1, kernel 2.6.24-21-Akku
root            (hd0,1)
kernel          /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.24-21-generic
root=UUID=37ec896f-7649-45ed-8f45-c9af2ce1727f ro nolapic
initrd          /boot/initrd.img-2.6.24-21-generic
quiet

only prob is that there is just one of two cores running.

I'm going to try the 8.10 Ubuntu to see if this works better

 Thanks.
 Best regards....
