The the screen shows the beginning of the KDE loading - screen, I can see the disk icon fading in and then the screen flickers - and goes black. Sometimes it flickers some more and sometimes the KDE - loading sceen (with the disk icon) reappears briefly but after a while - (a couple of seconds) it stays Black. - - If have a dual monitor setup with the primary monitor connected to an - OnBoard Intel 82845G and the secondary monitor on a ATI Radeon 7000 - series. The monitors are both LG AL1716. What more information do I need - to provide to make this work? + I've got a motherboard with an on-board Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV + Graphics Controller. When starting X with the "i810" driver the screen + stays black. The only way I can get it to work is with the "vesa" + driver. It works find under Windows though.
